Menstrual Mail — Monthly Mail Club Subscription

People often ask me why I created The Menstrual Mail Club, and the answer is surprisingly simple.

When I founded The Period Crate, my goal was to tackle one very practical issue: making period products freely available to anyone who needed them. But as the project grew, I realised that period poverty is only one part of a much bigger conversation.

The more people I spoke to, the more I realised how much of our experience of menstruation is shaped by silence. We aren't just lacking access to products. We're often lacking education, honest conversations, representation and spaces where menstrual health is treated as something worth discussing rather than something to whisper about.

That's where Menstrual Mail began.

Every edition explores a different aspect of menstruation, women's health, feminism and social justice. Some articles examine the science behind our bodies, others investigate the social and political issues that affect millions of people every day. Alongside these, you'll find recommendations, educational resources and updates from The Period Crate as our work continues to grow across Hull.

Above all, I hope Menstrual Mail becomes something that encourages curiosity.

Whether that's questioning why women's pain has historically been overlooked, learning about a condition you've never heard of before, or simply understanding your own body a little better, every conversation starts with someone deciding to ask a question.

Each edition includes:

• A printed letter with updates, reflections, and insights from The Period Crate
• Real, anonymous community experiences and stories
• Simple, accessible menstrual health education that explains an area of menstruation, menstrual poverty or menstrual health
• A menstrual myth-busting card, explaining a truth behind a commonly misinformed area of menstruation
• Recommendations for further reading, documentaries, articles, and research

We offer a 30-day return policy for all unused products. Please contact our support team to initiate a return.

Letters are shipped on the 1st of each month.

The cut-off date for each edition is the 10th of the previous month.
If you subscribe after the 10th, your first letter will be sent in the following month.

Your subscription will renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
